I drove for one hour to get to your store today as I usually like to shop there and it's worth the drive for me. I spent over an hour doing my shopping planning to use points ...the cashier rings up my stuff and at that moment I find out that the points system was down....it was so very busy in there...nobody was able to do anything with points.....somebody should have made an announcement about this to us shoppers. Thank goodness I had cash on me or I would have had to leave everything there. But my budget was not including me spending 100.00 cash out of pocket! Very poor policy you have or lack there of.
It was perfect until check out where there was 0 customer service No hello barely acknowledge the customer I put my phone out to be scanned all other cashier scan immediately she ignored me until she was good and ready. Handed me my slip pushed grocery downbelt then turned to next customer. Just saying a little courtesy go's a long way
Terrible store. Been coming to Bancroft for years, ever since No Frills opened and have watched this store decline over time. Hard to get certain products, always sold out of items, shelves are empty. Staff isn't very helpful or overly friendly. Management/owners don't seem to care about the inconvenience this causes customers. When asked about new stock/products, you are always told its because of the delivery truck. Best answer ever: the truck got lost. haha
Just an average No Frills. Way too crowded most of the time. Not enough parking to accommodate the crowds, especially in the summer months. Not a pleasant experience when it's busy. I try to avoid shopping on those days. Lol.
I am very disappointed in the store in the last month. We arrived today at 11:30 am today, Thursday , the day the sale begins and were very disappointed in the meat and frozen food aisles, there was no ground beef, and the selection of fresh meat was minimal, considering this is a long weekend. The Chapman freezer section was scant. I could understand if this was Saturday but the first day of the sale. I was also disappointed with the lack of Canadian produce. We finished our shopping at Food land. We have been finding our shopping at Food land more successful. Food land also casries more Canadian products. I have been finding No Frills is always short on sale products. I actually discussed this with another customer in Food land, whom had just left No Frills for the same reasons.
