After the reopening/renos, this restaurant has gone from one of my favorite places to eat to a place I will never visit again. The massive drop off in food quality was so staggering I don't see this business staying open for much longer. I wish I could say it was a small change or I'm just being picky but I've never seen anything quite like this. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone anymore. Sorry Dixie Lee, you've lost a long time customer and, judging by the other reviews, I'm not the only one.
Used to love it, But after the renovations.... not so much. Fries are good though. Too bad it changed
Country fried chicken at it's best. Would definitely recommend stopping when you're in Bancroft.
Was hoping for the amazing poutine I remember enjoying at Dixie Lee's years ago....NOPE. Overpriced, small portion, gravy wasn't hot, not enough curds. Hubby had a 4 piece meal and 2 PIECES WERE WINGS!
Great small town cooking. Better fried chicken than anything in the GTA.
